Village Mall is situated in the bustling town of Hartbeespoort Dam, North West Province. Our team was tasked with the upgrading and renovating of the existing mall which was constructed some years ago. The challenge was to integrate the new renovation with the existing mall in order to ensure that the integration appears seamless.

The upgrade and expansion of the restaurants lining the food court area required new pedestrian entrances with tree planting and custom designed street furniture in order to integrate it with the existing parking area. These entrance areas were provided with seating planters, steps and ramps as well as feature lighting. A new linear water feature along with tree planting and street furniture add to the sense of place and to serve as focal element to the restaurants lining the food court.
